All BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI training will continue

All BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI training will continue as scheduled. Classes schedule in March are limited to those who expire in March or April only.

BLS attendees have two options:

1. Attend the four hour class in person (limited to 12 people)
2. Take the online course and complete skills check-off with one of the HMSL educators (online course limited to 12 people, first come, first serve)
   Email SL-Education@houstonmethodist.org if you want to take the online course and schedule your skills check-off w/ an educator.

ACLS & PALS classes are limited to those who must have ACLS and/or PALS certification as part of their job description and expire in March or April

CPI classes are limited to those who must have CPI training as part of their job description.

Deadlines are extended for BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, ENCP, and NVCRISIS/CPI classes. Employees with these certifications expiring in March or April have been granted a 60-day grace period for renewal.
HMSL Clinical Education strongly recommends that employees stay on schedule if at all possible as the May classes are already full.
