Dan Kershner, PT, has been promoted to Rehab Manager in the Neuroscience & Spine Center. Dan is one of the original physical therapists in the Spine Center. He joined the team in 2011 and was promoted to departmental lead in 2019. During his tenure, Dan implemented the Big & Loud Program at HMSL. He also participated in the development of the lymphedema and vestibular programs. Dan was a subject matter expert for the system during the EPIC conversion. More recently, Dan has participated in Process Coaching and is eager to help with the 5S initiative across the organization.
Dan was born and raised in Vermont, but got to Texas as soon as he could. His wife, Laura, is a long-time teacher and current compliance officer with FBISD. Dan and Laura have two daughters. Shelby is a Sam Houston University graduate and works at the Fort Bend Medical Examiner’s Office and Cameron is a nursing student.
