Houston Represented at 2024 Paralympic Games
Four Houston-area athletes are expected to be among the more than 4,000 competitors from around the world in Paris when the 2024 Paralympics take place August 28 through September 8:
Ahalya Lettenberger: Para Swimming
This marks the second Paralympics for the former Rice University swimmer
Fabian Romo: Wheelchair Basketball
The Elkins High School (Missouri City) graduate makes his first Paralympics appearance
Jazmin Almlie-Ryan: Para Shooting
The Katy resident who attended the University of Houston is competing in her third Paralympics
Kaitlyn Eaton: Wheelchair Basketball
Eaton, who lives in Jersey Village, makes her second Paralympics appearance
The Paralympic Games are an international competition for athletes with disabilities that was first held in 1948.
