Director of Financial Operations, South Region

Melissa Roca has accepted an expanded role as Director of Financial Operations – South Region, now providing financial leadership support for Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital.

Melissa will continue providing financial operations oversight for the Houston Methodist Sugar Land (HMSL) and Houston Methodist Baytown campuses, and will also continue to support the HMSL Case Management and Medical Records departments. Her experience across the region will increase opportunities to share and replicate process improvements as well as streamline key elements of our annual budget process and financial reporting.

Melissa has been a valued member of Houston Methodist for 21 years, starting her career in corporate finance in 2000 and transitioning to HMSL in 2007. Melissa has been an integral contributor to multiple campus expansion financial proposals, as well as managing the annual hospital operating and capital budget process.  We’re thrilled to have her in this expanded role.
