HMSL is pleased to announce the promotion of Michaela Brady MSN, RN, NE-BC, CAPA, to Director of Nursing.
Michaela will oversee Admissions, Observation & Discharge (AOD), pre-admission testing (PAT) and the post anesthesia care unit (PACU). With these changes, PAT will be expanded to cover areas outside of surgery. Additionally, Michaela will report directly to Janet Leatherwood in this new capacity.
Michaela started her journey here as a nurse in AOD in 2014 and within a year began to advance in the clinical career ladder to RN III in 2015. She was promoted to Manager of AOD/PAT in September of 2015. Michaela has a BSN from University of Arkansas and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Houston-Victoria.
