The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is proud to announce the formation of three new Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
- Asian Heritage
- Black Ties for Culture
- LGBTQ+Allies
ERGs are employee-led, voluntary groups who join together based on common interests, backgrounds or demographic to create a diverse and inclusive workplace. These groups provide safe, neutral spaces for employees at all levels to share common interests, discuss issues or challenges, offer developmental opportunities, and to brainstorm strategies and solutions that will support diversity and inclusion goals.
Although we are officially announcing these groups today, the leaders of the ERGs have been working hard behind the scenes to recruit members, produce events, make connections and lay the foundation for a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. We are excited to announce our first upcoming event hosted by the Asian Heritage ERG to celebrate the Chinese New Year 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26. Click here for more information.
We are thrilled and encouraged by the progress we’re making in our commitment to DEI but know the work doesn’t stop here. We look forward to creating more opportunities for our employees to connect, build and succeed together.
