Holiday Celebration Week

Please join us for Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital’s Holiday Celebration Week. We have fun activities planned for each day of the week. See below for detailed information. Please consult with your manager before participating.

Monday, December 14

• HMSL’s Got Talent Event – Chris’ Corner Facebook Event
  • Employees are to post a video or picture of their talent. The three most liked posts as of Monday, December 21st at 8 a.m. will win a “swag bag” of miscellaneous goodies collected from our committee and from HR.
  • Winners will be announced on Monday, Dec. 21, by noon on Chris’ Corner.
• Start the week off with a sweet treat from Starbucks! Your manager will have further details for you.

Tuesday, December 15

• Wear your favorite holiday mask
  • Employees can post their pictures on Chris’ Corner to be entered in a drawing for a “swag bag” of misc goodies collected from the employee morale committee and HR.
• Individually bagged festive iced cookies will be given to staff leaders to hand out to employees of all shifts. You may receive these through your manager.

Wednesday, December 16

• From 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., members from the senior leadership team will greet employees arriving/leaving for shift change with breakfast tacos!
  • Locations for this will be the Main Pavilion Sky Bridge, Sweetwater Pavilion North Entrance and Sweetwater Pavilion Sky Bridge.
• From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. we’ll host a Music on the Go event featuring Amp’d String Quartet – Houston’s Original Pop String Quartet compliments of CPAM.
  • Festive headbands will also be handed out to staff (while supplies last).

Thursday, December 17

• Get a fancy popcorn sleeve from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. while supplies last.
  • Locations for this will be the Main Pavilion Sky Bridge, Sweetwater Pavilion North Entrance and Sweetwater Pavilion Sky Bridge.

Friday, December 18

• Let’s be festive! a holiday scrub top, shirt, or sweater (with manager approval).
• Meet members of our senior leadership team in Brazos Conference Room B from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. where they’ll be handing out festive headwear or flashing jewelry (while supplies last).
  • Show off your new gift in a photobooth before exiting with a sweet, nostalgic treat.

Saturday, December 19

• Our senior leadership team will greet you with a breakfast taco from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
  • Locations for this will be the Main Pavilion Sky Bridge, Sweetwater Pavilion North Entrance and Sweetwater Pavilion Sky Bridge.
