Instilling a Culture of Safety Awareness
During the month of April, safety audits are conducted hospital-wide by the safety representatives as they partner with a safety rep outside of their department to complete this process.

Following the completion of the safety audit, the safety rep will review the audit results with the management team, who will complete the corrective action plan and provide a signature. The results of the safety audit should be reviewed with the staff at the next staff meeting. Completed audits should be returned by e-mail to Kim Grimmett or Donna Hermis no later than April 30.
