SUGAR LAND – (January 30, 2024) — Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is pleased to welcome gastroenterologist Nisreen S. Husain, M.D., who will begin seeing patients February 12.
Husain is joining Houston Methodist Gastroenterology Associates, located in Medical Office Building 4, Suite 110 on the Houston Methodist Sugar Land campus.
Husain earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She completed her internal medicine residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Husain also completed her gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Husain is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
“As a gastroenterologist, I strive to provide compassionate care where I actively listen to my patients’ concerns and formulate tailored treatment recommendations that respect and reflect their individual needs and values,” said Husain. “I’m thrilled to join Houston Methodist Gastroenterology Associates, where I will offer the same quality and care that patients know and expect from Houston Methodist Sugar Land.”
