Houston Methodist Primary Care Group is pleased to welcome Prathibha Thomas, M.D., who is joining the Sienna clinic located at 8330 Hwy. 6, Suite 110, Missouri City, TX 77459.
Thomas is board-certified in family medicine, with clinical expertise in acute and chronic condition management, including cholesterol, blood pressure, thyroid concerns and diabetes. She has particular interest in preventive and women’s health care.
“As a family medicine physician, my goal is to empower patients to take control of their health and lead them on a path of disease prevention,” Thomas said. “I am passionate about educating my patients and want to build long-term relationships through openness, honesty, trust and empathy. I am committed to working with my patients to develop a healthy lifestyle.”
Thomas earned her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas, and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She grew up in Missouri City and is married with two daughters. Away from work, she loves to travel, craft and experiment with new food recipes.
