Last year we heard from employees that they are hungry for mentorship in a variety of forms, which is consistent with research that identifies mentorship as a key component of an organizational employee engagement and retention strategy. In response to this need, we have now launched a new pilot program, Mentor Match, designed to connect those seeking to grow their career with others in the organization who can provide the guidance and support needed to reach their goals.
We are seeking leaders who want to uniquely contribute to the professional growth of others and help employees across our system who are hungry for the insight and wisdom you have gained while in the workplace. We’ll even provide you with the tools and resources you need to become an effective mentor!
Click this link to visit the Mentor Match home page and view a brief video that explains what the program is and how it works. From the home page you can click the Join button, select the Mentor option and then click the SAML Login button so that our system will recognize you as a Houston Methodist employee. Seats for the pilot are limited, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.
