Starting June 7, HMSL will launch a project that will require the involvement of various HMSL departments with the assistance of our Houston Methodist Internal Consulting team.
Why it’s important
Providing timely and effective care is critical to ensuring unparalleled safety, quality and service. This project will identify barriers to improve processes regarding length of stay and throughput while providing any necessary tools or training to leaders and staff.
What will happen?
The assessment of these areas will be focused on identifying operational, strategic, and financial opportunities for improvement while leveraging internal experience and knowledge.
Our internal consulting team will be making rounds throughout the hospital emergency departments, inpatient units, case management and support services including, transport, environmental services and physical therapy.
At the conclusion of this project, you’ll see a report out from our internal consulting team with their findings.
