July 6, 2020 – Sir William Osler is credited with saying “without faith a man can do nothing; with it all things are possible.” Merriam-Webster defines faith as a “firm belief in something for which there is no proof; complete trust; and fidelity to one’s promises.”
I’ve thought about faith quite a bit lately through all the COVID-19 challenges and have come to believe that faith has a large part in what is seeing us through. Faith shows up in our actions towards each other because we have faith that each person will do their part to keep each other safe.
We have faith that our I CARE values will guide our decisions and actions. We have faith that everyone will share their gifts and talents and show up ready to rumble. We have faith that human kindness will prevail.
