On Wednesday, Feb. 15, we received great news from the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet recognition program that our three Magnet appraisers completed the review of Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital’s Organization Overview (OO) and the appraisers had no additional questions or requests for additional information. The OO is the first portion of our Magnet document that must pass before the Magnet appraisers go on to review the rest.
We are now entering the phase where we begin to get our organization ready for the Magnet site visit, even though we don’t know when this will be. Our Magnet program director, Mary Harris and our Magnet champions will be working with each unit/department to help you get ready.
