September 30, 2019 — I hope you’ve attended a Pathway to Unparalleled session on Innovation. One of the activities focuses on “yes, and” and this got my wheels turning!
On September 17, 30 of our graduate nurses presented nine innovative evidence-based projects that create “yes, and” thoughts. Here are the projects:
- Admission interventions using a patient onboarding video
- Using passive range of motion for ICU patients with low mobility scores to decrease length of stay
- Improving post-partum hemorrhage competency in the Mother/Baby unit
- Code Lavender – improving teamwork and collaboration
- Using and Action Plan Card to effectively addressing patient concerns Emergency Department psychiatric patient safety
- Safe administration of sleep aids in the geriatric patient population
- Sleep aid – improving patient rest
- Safety practices for patients discharge with home oxygen
