October is National Physical Therapy (PT) Month

This year, the inpatient physical therapy (rehab) department gave back to the community by joining with the PTs, PTAs, and students of physical therapy across the globe in the PT Day of Service. This is a global event where clinicians, students, and associated staff of the physical therapy profession volunteer in different communities around the world.

On Oct. 14, 2017, the inpatient rehab department donated items and volunteered at the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry resale shop (sorting/tagging items, assisting customers), proving that making a difference in people’s lives does not end at the clinic. This is what physical therapy is all about.
