Holy Lord,
We come to you today with worry and concern for our colleagues, friends, family members, and community during this time of heavy rains and flooding. This is uncharted territory for many of us. We are uncertain of many things: our homes, businesses, cars and, most of all, the lives of the people we care about as the waters rise around us. We ask for Your Ggrace and mercy in the midst of facing this storm. Please quiet our fears and be our shelter through this. We need your strength and hold on to our hope in You to weather this storm and get back to solid ground. Help those who have and will face loss to rebuild, and please guide our hearts to help those who are in need. Amen.
