Four employees from each of the service lines (Ambulatory Surgery, Emergency Department, Inpatient Services and Outpatient Services) have been named as a “Star of the Month” in recognition for their commitment to our patients and I CARE values. These employees have been selected based on outstanding patient comments and feedback received. Each month we alternate between featuring employees who received exceptional recognition from one of our various surveys (NRC Survey, RealTime, CONNECT Discharge Phone Calls, MyRounding) and employees who have been noted as going above and beyond through feedback from the Service Quality team and Guest Relations rounds.
We are excited to showcase and recognize the amazing hard work that our employees deliver to our patients on a daily basis. Thank you for being a part of our journey to unparalleled.
Tom Dickinson, RN – Emergency Department
- “From the beginning of the visit, entering the emergency department everyone was nice but I think that one of the people that stood out the most was Nurse Tom. He was very thorough, and always kept me up to date, and was very kind, and I really appreciate that. I think the hospital’s doing a great job.”
Mark Tran, MRI Technologist – Outpatient
- “The two techs, George and Mark, could not have been nicer! I was helped up to the MRI bed and they assisted me with the removal and replacement of my leg braces. They talked me through the entire procedure to keep me relaxed. All are a wonderful asset for your hospital services.”
- Kudos to Mark! At the beginning of each sequence of the MRI, He would tell me how long it would be. I’ve had MRI’s before, they always seemed to take forever. Knowing the times and having someone talk to you made a BIG difference to me! Thank you Mark!
Teresa Schneider, RN – Inpatient (6W)
- “Teresa explained everything to me that she was doing. If she said she was going to do something, she always did it and followed through quickly. She is an excellent nurse. She talked to me like a person I can relate to and came and stood in the room while my doctor was here because she wanted to hear what was my plan and I really liked that”
- Patient recognized Teresa RN for all her help during this difficult time for them. They stated she is “amazing, proactive, and empathetic.” They received some difficult news from the physician, and they stated Teresa helped them get through it by showing empathy and sitting with them. Great job Teresa!
Jennifer Bard, RN – Ambulatory Surgery
- “My discharge nurse was wonderful and she actually took me to the car because she said it was going to be over an hour wait to get somebody with a wheelchair to come up there and get me so I thought she went beyond her duties.”
