Easter Reflection
Easter Sunday, or Resurrection Sunday, is observed on March 31 this year. The day celebrates Jesus’s rising from the dead, a sign of hope for eternal life for Christians worldwide. Avon Jackson, senior benefits specialist, HR Benefits, HMH, offers her reflections on the holiday.
“Easter is the most important day of the year as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. My celebration begins with traveling to Louisiana to attend church services, have dinner and do an Easter Egg hunt with my family. The hunt is a long-standing family tradition, and we always look forward to it. The holiday also includes spreading Easter joy to homebound neighbors by dropping off Easter baskets filled with goodies and dinner.”
