You recently received an email from Dr. Marc Boom, our president and CEO, announcing this new initiative. We are all expected to participate in this two-hour session that will allow us to share our insights with other employees as we discuss our culture, values, history and accomplishments. We will also talk about how we each contribute to make Houston Methodist the best hospital system in the country.
After participating, each of us should have a better understanding about how our work ties into our shared mission. I’m confident that this new program will also help us build on our already amazing culture. Ultimately, this will lead to providing each patient the best experience possible. This may be the most important project we have implemented at Houston Methodist since introducing our I CARE values in 2001, and your attendance is critical and expected.
