In December 2022, HMSL was the first hospital in Fort Bend County to be designated as a Level III NICU. HMSL currently has 46 NICU nurses and 5 NNPs, supported by Childbirth Center Director Cristina Martin, NICU Manager Theresa Walters and Neonatal Educator Rachel Leva. “Thank you to our NICU team for your commitment to the unit and the care you provide every day to our smallest population allowing us to deliver this high-quality service needed for our community.” -Cristina Martin, Childbirth Center Director
